QCA provides Home and Community - Based Services (HCBS) under Section 20, Section 21, and Section 29 waiver programs. Each house operated by QCA is well staffed by trained DSP who provide support to our residents 24/7.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
We assist and train our residents with:
Meal Planning and Preparation
Assistance with groceries and making healthy nutritional choices
Learning self-care and hygiene skills
QCA uses a holistic approach in addressing each individual's problem behaviors.
Our DSPs are trained in Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) implementation and data collection to inform the support team.
QCA is lead by team of professionals in Behavioral Science and Health Care who are knowledgeable and apply best practices. At QCA, we believe that individual's problem behaviors can be managed with less restrictive measures - That is our practice.
Our staff include Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Aids (CNAs), and trained CRMA. Each resident's health needs are taken care by professionals 24 hours 7 days. The health care of the people we support is of paramount importance to us.
Our staff facilitate residents to follow up with their health providers by scheduling medical and dental appointments and driving residents while enabling wellness/fitness, timely and optimal health care as needed.
QCA Registered Nurse is available 27/4 to address any health related issues.
Vocational services include training in various fields depending on residents' goal and aspirations. We facilitate enrollment in those programs as well as assisting those who want to secure employment.
COMMUNITY AND Social SUPPORTS
Social interaction and community integration. Our residents are encouraged, assisted to participate in community outing activities
Residents who are enrolled in school programs are supported with transportation, attend school programs and receive after school assistance as needed.
